This is a very special post as we still celebrating Kelly's Birthday. For those of you that have the honor to know Kelly, you will agree with me that she is the sweetest of all. In the short time I known her, she had become a great friend and one of "my persons". She's is always ready to help and provide fabulous advises. She's a darling! The Sock Goddess!
It's my pleasure tho introduce you to the Beautiful Kelly and her Sock Darlings.
Pelhuaz: What's your name?
Kelly: Kelly or Mom or Sleepy
Pelhuaz: Describe yourself in 5 words.
Kelly: Bubbly, Joyful, Happy, Creative, Strong
Pelhuaz: If you could sing one song on American Idol or any other TV
Show, what would it be?
Kelly: Oooo That is a hard one. I think I'd love to sing something gospel but it would be fun to show of my voice level and sing Evanescence - Wake me up Inside.
Pelhuaz: If you were on an island and could only bring 3 things, what
would you bring?
Kelly: Hmm I think my bible, my sock animal basket, and my crochet basket. Each basket has all the supplies to do both of my favorite crafts, including lip balm. I am always prepared.
Pelhuaz: If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare
for us?
Kelly: My favorite easy thing to cook: Spegetti and meatballs, with garlic bread.
Pelhuaz: What is the last book you read?
Kelly: The Bible
Pelhuaz: Tell us about your Small Business… Why did you decide to open it?
Kelly: My small business is Kiser Krafts. It came about when a friend asked if she could sell my animals in her little shop. For a new wife and mother, it opened up the opportunity for me to stay home with my new infant and care for my growing family. It also helps with my crafting addiction. When one buys from Kiser Krafts, they help put food on our table or gas in our car. To some that may not seem like much but it is much to me and my family. And it helps me stay with my children who right now need me most.
Pelhuaz: What is your favorite item available at Kiser Krafts?

Kelly: I think my favorite item that is available right now at Kiser Krafts is Fox plush. He is one of my favorite creations, all hand sewn and he has super hero power words on him.
Pelhuaz: What do you wish you had known before you started?
Kelly: I think it would have been nice to know how to manage my time better before I started. As Kiser Krafts has grown, I have learned to keep a better schedule. Writing it down greatly helps.
Pelhuaz: When is your Store Anniversary?
Kelly: Nov 5
Pelhuaz: Imagine that I’m planning to open Pelhuaz, and I don’t know
a thing about managing a Small Business, what will be your best advice?
Kelly: Do not compare your beginning to some one's middle or even end. Remember, you do not start out at the top but have to work, work hard, to get to the top. It takes time, effort, and tons of coffee. Lol Stay positive, get plugged into a good community, learn from others/ask questions daily, and have fun with it. Enjoy what you do and make, then when it gets hard, you'll still do it.
